    Mr. Ko has announced that auditions to be part of the crew for the spring musical will be held in the auditorium after school tomorrow, Tuesday  the 28th.

    Buy Your Tickets Now!
    Invitations to the auction went home via your children's backpack this week. You may purchase your admissions online at Tickets are $40 in advance and $50 at the door. We urge you to buy in advance because it will help us to plan better. Admission include drinks and food (a variety of pasta dishes from Bar Pitti) and dessert. Plus lots of great items to bid on, of course! 

    Thanks to everyone who have solicited or donated, we have over 300 items for your bidding pleasure! Of course, if we continue to accept donations especially if they fall in the fabulous category!

    A sneak peek--we have tickets to Hamilton, Macys Thanksgiving Day Parade, airline tickets, some of NYC's best restaurants including Gramercy Tavern. You definitely don't want to miss out on these amazing donations so buy your tickets now.

  • Afterschool

    It was another winning week for Baruch's sports teams last week. This past Saturday, three of our four basketball teams competed in the ML Gators Middle School Jamboree. 
    The Varsity Boys team won the championship in the West Bracket and Kasai Fontanez made all-Jamboree first team!
    The Varsity Girls team won one game and Kayla Dawkins was named MVP and Destiny Norman made all-Jamboree first team!
    The Junior Varsity boys team were the East Bracket Jamboree runner ups! 
    Dayne Pemberty made MVP, Raqiese Cohen made all-Jamboree first team and Deshaun Hall made all-Jamboree second team!
    Congratulations to all of our teams for their amazing work!

  • NY International Children's Film Festival--Discount Tickets!

    It's time! NY International Children's Film Festival 2017 is just around the corner and will be showcasing the best new films for ages 3-18. The Festival is packed full of fantastic film programs for your family this year and, even better, our school receives a $3 discount on all ticket purchases!

    Box Tops are an easy way to contribute to the school and it costs you nothing extra.
    Just save the labels and turn them into the main office at any time.

    So far this year we have $350 from this initiative. We could earn lots more if everyone shared their box tops!

  • Spirit Week -- 12/19 - 12/23

    MS 104's Winter Spirit Week coming Monday, December 19 through Friday December 23.

    Spirit week is a time to get students enthused and supportive of our school. The week also serves as a time to get students involved, working cooperatively, and united on a common goal of promoting the school spirit.

    During this week students are encouraged to dress up to the theme and express their creativity and individuality. We recommend that all students and staff members participate and raise the school spirit. This should be a fun-filled week!

    The ceremony for the honorees for the first marking period will be held on December 20 and 21. Students who met the criteria will be notified by the administration of the date and time. The following are the criteria for honor roll:

    Overall average of 95% or above
    Average of 90% or above for every class

    Honor roll students are acknowledged directly by the school at the end of each marking period

    VISIT to make a donation. ANY contribution is appreciated whether it be big or small, $20, $104, $250, $500 or more! You can make it a one time or recurring monthly donation. Please make a donation that makes sense for your family but we do hope you'll consider making one.

    Please see the attached letter from the Principal regarding the school's cell phone policy. Parents and students should read the policy and sign the letter declaring that they have read and understand the policy. Signed letters should be returned to the home room teachers.

Blue Folder

The Blue Baruch Communication folder your child receives (on the first day of school) should be in their backpack all the time.  Please check it on a regular basis for information from the school.  Monthly calendars, permission slips and other information come home via the blue folder.

Daily Announcements

Morning Announcements are made daily over the loudspeaker.   Encourage your child to listen.
